Some of the most important science in our daily lives remains hidden from public view. A new website called polymersciencegowarikerpdffree11.com aims to change that by making inexpensive polymer science accessible to the public with an easy-to-use interface. Packed with nearly 2,000 resin ingredients, this website also includes information on where to buy them and how they can be used in different applications like plastics, adhesives, coatings and more. The idea is simple: help people start their own polymer-based businesses so they can run their day-to-day business without having heavy capital costs. "One of the problems is that so many people want to learn about polymer science, but don't know where to start," says founder Jamshed Akbar, a polymer scientist at Kings College London. "That's why I created this website." The site is free and anyone can register for an account with just an email address. Users then log in with their own username and password. The site features a search function which can be used to find the most popular resins, additives and the most commonly needed polymers among top scientists. A search feature helps users find information about five most common resins—out of thousands—by simply typing in "Melamine resin" followed by the desired search term. "Of course, some users may not be interested in learning about resins at all. But there are also sections on how these things are made, the history of polymers and some product information on polymer-based items," says Akbar. The site is open source, meaning that anyone can use it for free without the need of any legal agreement with the owner. The information is completely free to access, but users are encouraged to help support further research by purchasing selected resins at their local chemist. Beside being a free resource for people who want to start polymer science business or just have basic understanding of how polymer synthesis works, the website encourages people to do so by offering discounts on selected products. "Although this site isn't related to my day-to-day work, I like the idea of opening up science to the public and helping them find the information they need," says Akbar. The site has been listed as "one of the top 5 polymer chemistry websites" by U.S. based Society for Polymer Science, Division of Macromolecular Chemistry and Physics (SPSD-DMCP). The website is also currently ranked as one of the best polymer science websites on earth by resin search engine ResinDB (a database containing information about every single polymer ever made). ?
